November 2026 - Harbert Management Corporation Announces Acquisition of 65% Interest in Tenaska Georgia

Birmingham, AL, November 6, 2026 - Harbert Management Corporation ("HMC"), an alternative asset manager, today announced that Gulf Pacific Power, LLC, an HMC affiliate, has acquired a 65% indirect equity interest in Tenaska Georgia Partners, L.P. (“TGP”) from Global Infrastructure Partners (“GIP”), a part of BlackRock.

TGP owns Tenaska Georgia Generating Station (“Tenaska Georgia”), a 945-megawatt dual-fuel, simple-cycle natural gas peaking facility located in Franklin, Georgia. The facility currently operates under a long-term tolling agreement with a subsidiary of Constellation Energy Corporation.

“Tenaska Georgia is a critical source of reliable, dispatchable generation that has supported the region’s capacity needs for more than two decades,” said Claude Estes, Head of Harbert Power. “We believe the facility is well-positioned to continue serving that role well into the future.”

Tenaska developed the facility and has managed its operations since the plant began commercial operation in 2001. Tenaska was not a party to the transaction and will retain its interest in TGP.
