John C. Harrison

Mr. Harrison joined HMC in 2000 and serves as Senior Managing Director of its Mezzanine Capital Team and Vice President of the General Partner of Harbert Australian Private Equity. His responsibilities include the daily functions of the Mezzanine investing activities and chairing the Investment committee of the Australian Private Equity Fund. Previously, he worked for Finova Mezzanine Capital as Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager. He is also the former Vice President of Sirrom Capital Corporation. Mr. Harrison has experience in the commercial banking industry with a focus on lending and credit management prior to joining HMC. He received his degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee.

John S. Scott

Mr. Scott is responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments. He formerly served with Sirrom Capital Corporation as Eastern, North, West, and Midwestern Regional Manager. He is also a former Commercial Bank Officer for Ameritrust Corporation, Citizens Bank and First American National Bank. Mr. Scott is a graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Robert A. Bourquin

Rob Bourquin is responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring investments for Harbert Mezzanine Partners II (“HMP II”). Mr. Bourquin has over ten years of experience investing in middle market mezzanine debt transactions and was also a partner in Harbert Mezzanine Partners, the predecessor fund to HMP II. Prior to working with HMC, he held the position of Vice President with Sirrom Capital Corporation and with Finova Mezzanine Capital. He began his career with the investment bank George K. Baum in Kansas City. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College.

Alyce M. Ory

Prior to joining HMC, Ms. Ory worked at Finova Mezzanine Capital and in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at SunTrust Equitable Securities. She received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.

D. Andrew Tatman II

Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Tatman worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Investment Banking Group of Morgan Keegan & Company and with the Morgan Keegan Mezzanine Fund.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.     

Jack Davis

Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Davis worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions - Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group at Lazard Freres & Co. in New York. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

Jack Richmond

Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Richmond worked in the Corporate Development group at Healthways, a health and well-being improvement company, and in the Investment Banking Group at Morgan Keegan & Company. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina.

Tyler L. Augusty

Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Augusty worked in the Investment Banking Group at Morgan Keegan & Company. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.
