 | Gregory A. JordanPortfolio Manager and Senior Managing Director
| Mr. Jordan joined HMC in 2010 as a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Jordan makes all investment decisions and has complete oversight of the Harbert Credit Opportunities Fund. He has more than twenty (20) years of investment experience, the last fifteen (15) of which have been exclusively focused on the leveraged and distressed credit of middle-market issuers. All of Mr. Jordan’s leveraged credit experience has been on the buy-side with both long/short and long only funds as a portfolio manager, analyst, and trader. Before HMC, Mr. Jordan was a Managing Director at Oppenheimer & Co. where he co-managed a distressed debt fund. Prior thereto, Mr. Jordan was a Senior Vice President and Head of Special Situation Investments at Union Bank (The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.) where he managed a proprietary book of stressed and distressed leveraged loans. Previously, he was the Portfolio Manager for Breakwater Master Fund, Ltd., a fund focused on distressed debt. Preceding Breakwater, Mr. Jordan was a Portfolio Manager and Senior Fixed Income Analyst at The Dreyfus Corporation. Mr. Jordan earned his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.S. from Pepperdine University. |
 | Heather L. BarlowManaging Director | Ms. Barlow joined HMC in 2011 as a Director of Investments. Ms. Barlow was promoted to Managing Director in December 2011. Before joining HMC, Ms. Barlow was a Senior Managing Director and founder of Value Extraction Services LLC. Value Extraction Services work includes liquidating trustee work and operational turnaround/financial restructuring advisory. Prior thereto, Ms. Barlow was an Executive Director at CIBC World Markets in the Restructuring Advisory Group of Leveraged Finance/Investment Banking. Before CIBC World Markets, Ms. Barlow was a banker for a specialty investment banking boutique firm with a focus on distressed advisory. Early career roles include: international and domestic operational turnaround work and both workout and proprietary distressed investing while at the Chase Manhattan Bank. Ms. Barlow earned both her M. P. A. and B.A. from New York University. |
