 | Eric D. WongSenior Managing Director
| Mr. Wong is the Senior Managing Director of the Harbert Capital Structure and Convertible Arbitrage Fund. Over the past decade, he has held a variety of positions managing capital, including portfolio manager, trader and fundamental research analyst. His primary focus has been in investing in convertible securities and arbitraging different asset classes of corporate capital structures. Prior to joining HMC in 2006, Mr. Wong was a Portfolio Manager and Head of Credit Strategies at Aviator Fund Management. Prior to Aviator, he was a Trader for the Convertible Hedging Strategy of Angelo, Gordon & Co. and a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Trust Company of the West (“TCW”). At TCW, he launched and managed the Credit-Sensitive Convertible Fund. In 2000 and 2001, Mr. Wong was voted to the Best of the Buy Side by Institutional Investor. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from New York University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Anderson School at UCLA. |
 | Charles E. PerilmanManaging Director | Mr. Perilman is a Managing Director for the Harbert Capital Structure and Convertible Arbitrage Fund. He has worked for over 20 years as a Trader and Portfolio Manager of convertible and related securities. From 1995 to 2007, Mr. Perilman worked at Angelo, Gordon & Co., where he was responsible for their Global Convertible Preferred portfolios. Prior to Angelo, Gordon, he helped form the Convertible Department at Lazard Freres & Co. which included structuring convertible financings. From 1982 to 1990, he was a Managing Director at Paine Weber where he was responsible for proprietary and institutional convertible trading. One of his responsibilities there was managing a portfolio focused on event driven research and directional hedging. Mr. Perilman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
 | Edward T. WuManaging Director | Mr. Wu is a Managing Director for the Harbert Convertible and Capital Structure Arbitrage Fund. Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Wu worked at Reservoir Capital Group where he focused on research for merger arbitrage and event-driven investment situations. Prior to Reservoir Capital, he focused on distressed investment situations at Couchman Capital, where he served on numerous Official Creditors and Equityholders Committees. Before Couchman Capital, he served in investment banking positions at CRT Capital Group and Salomon Smith Barney, where he focused on advising corporations on mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. Mr. Wu graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with an A.B. in English Literature and received a J.D. from Harvard Law School. |
