| Mr. Luce joined HMC in 1995 and serves as its President & COO. Before joining the firm, Mr. Luce worked with Bear Stearns & Company, where he served as a member of the Commitment Committee, Chairman of the Equity Committee, and as a Senior Managing Director in the New York office. While with Bear Stearns, Mr. Luce primarily focused on mergers, buyouts, and debt and equity transactions for public and private companies. He serves on the Board of Directors of PFC Acquisition Company, Inc., Dent-A-Med, Inc., CF Holding Company, Inc. and Children's Harbor. Mr. Luce holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. |
 | Jeremy E. SteeleVice President & Senior Managing Director
| Mr. Steele joined HMC in 2008 to establish the Australian Private Equity Strategy. Before joining the firm, Mr. Steele was Head of ANZ Private Equity (“ANZPE”), a A$500 million middle-market private equity fund. He led a team of 30 investment professionals located in 6 offices across Australia and New Zealand. At the time of his departure to join HFAA, the ANZ portfolio consisted of almost 50 investments. Prior to joining ANZ, Mr. Steele worked in the Melbourne office of National Australia Bank establishing a middle-market leverage finance business. This followed his eight years experience in Europe working in a variety of investment banking roles. Mr. Steele holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and was awarded a Future Leader Award at the 2007 Australia Future Summit. |
 | Brendan J. AndersonVice President & Senior Managing Director | Mr. Anderson joined HMC in 2008 to establish the Australian Private Equity Strategy. Before joining the firm, Mr. Anderson was a Director in the Corporate Finance division of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. During this time he worked on both buy-side and sell-side advisory assignments and completed over 40 private equity, trade and public market transactions. Prior to this Mr. Anderson was a founder and Managing Director of Digital Strategy Group a management consulting business formed to focus on strategic business opportunities enabled by information and communication technology. Immediately following his MBA, Mr. Anderson was Chief Financial Officer of the Mater Misericordiae Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. While seeking his MBA, he worked for Harbert Management Corporation in Alabama as an intern and part-time investment associate. Mr. Anderson holds a Master of Business Administration degree with honours from Duke University in North Carolina and a Bachelor of Business degree from RMIT University, Melbourne. |
 | Robert P.A. WhitakerSenior Associate | Mr. Whitaker joined HMC in 2009. Before joining the firm, Mr. Whitaker was previously an Associate Director at Deloitte Corporate Finance where he spent three and a half years working on financial due diligence assignments in a wide variety of industries. Prior to that, Mr. Whitaker spent nearly four years as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch with secondments to Equity Research and Funds Management. He has an MBA from Monash Mt.Eliza Business School and following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he ran the family retail business for three years until its successful sale in 1998. |
 | Michael R.J. DaGama PintoSenior Associate | Mr. Pinto joined HMC in 2009. Before joining the firm, Mr. Pinto was previously an Investment Manager at ANZ Private Equity where he was a key member of deal origination and execution teams. Prior to this, Mr. Pinto worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 10 years, focusing predominately on small to medium enterprises. He has extensive corporate finance, advisory and investment experience, having worked with a number of companies from investment to exit. Mr. Pinto has twice been seconded to support the finance function of two medium sized businesses and has a detailed understanding of a SME business environment. He obtained his Bachelor of Business at RMIT university, Melbourne and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. |
