We seek to generate capital appreciation primarily through private equity and mezzanine debt investments, directly or indirectly, in Australian resident companies with substantial assets and operations in Australia. In addition to providing capital, we typically take an active role with each portfolio company in developing and executing strategic business plans and in pursuing add-on acquisitions. We provide access to our accounting, treasury, legal and other support services when it will be helpful to the portfolio company. We pride ourselves on working closely with management in an attempt to execute business strategies and to build successful companies. - Management that wants to work with a value-added partner who brings more than capital to the table.
- A defensible market position gained through a sustainable competitive advantage.
- A history of profitability with good forecast top-line and bottom-line growth.
- The ability to grow cash flow through internal initiatives and/or add-on acquisitions.
- Simple and appropriate capital structure.
- Favourable industry and regulatory environments.
